Hello,

Like each year I attend DDay and Normandy Battle ceremonies.
So, few families of Commandos were there, but it's like that.

I paid tribute to the fallen in different cemeteries. Unfortunately, alone. I'm doing my best, would like to do more, for each one.
So, I enclosed some photos to remember those who gave all for freedom.

These first photos were taken in Ranville cemetery, in memory of Graham WHITTLES 3 Cdo. After DAVID ( great-nephew ) and PETE contacted me, if someone could pay
his respect to Graham.

Best wishes

stéphane

Thanks you Stephane. I have now entered one of these to our Ranville War Cemetery albums and linked to his gallery image below. David Burrows also sent this message to me which I know he will not mind me posting

Stephane is an incredible guy! Brilliant of him to do this for Graham and family...my Grandkids will go nuts for the soldier bear!

Hello Stéphane, please take a look at this forum topic :

http://forum.commandoveterans.org/cdoForum/posts/list/6439.page

Pete only has 50 photos of Commando graves at Ranville out of the 166 buried there.

Can you help out with the missing photos ?

Hi Stephane or anyone else who may visiting France this year in the vicinity of Ranville or any of the other war cemeteries

For Ranville it is primarily the Royal Marine Commando graves, ie. 41, 45 46, 47 and 48, that we do not have with one or two others. If it is easier for you just email me 5 at a time whenever you get a chance in the future. The links below take you to their albums for Ranville -

41RM Commando

45RM Commando

46RM Commando

47RM Commando

48RM Commando
