The Anniversary of the D Day Landings at Normandy

This week services will be held in many countries to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the 6th June June 1944, the 'D Day' of Allied landings at Normandy. Thousands would die on this day and in the months to follow before the war ended in 1945. Many more suffered life changing injuries.

Amongst The Fallen on the 6th June 1944 were One Hundred And Seventy Seven Commandos.

ONE day in ONE country in ONE theatre of war in World War Two.
