The Danger of Life: a novel set at Achnacarry in 1942

Members may be interested in my newly-published thriller The Danger of Life which is set largely at the Commando Basic Training Centre at Achnacarry in late 1942.

The character and the history of the area play a large part in the novel; and the events of 1942 are linked back to the role played by Clan Cameron in the final Jacobite rising, two centuries earlier.

I'm pleased to say that Ken followed the Forum's Guidelines and approached me before posting.

Although 'The Danger of Life' is fiction, I'm sure that Ken has researched Achnacarry well and I imagine that there will be details in the book about the long history of Achnacarry Castle and Achnacarry House.
