Great photos Clive. Good additions to our online gallery. As I add them to the gallery I will delete the forum post for that photo to save clogging the forum. Keep posting ! I will keep this Forum post as the primary one.

Hi Clive
I have now added all bar the non Commando photo from 1942 to our Gallery for 45RM Commando. They are currently on page 2 but the troop photo may be moved to page 1 in due course.

Any idea what the 58 on the board might signify ? Thinking it might be a code number for the Commando. They used these in 3 Commando Bde in the Far East as can be seen in their Jungle Book issues.

58 on a red square is the Arms of Service number used to identify 45 R.M. Commando vehicles.

Photo from Clive Yaxley moved from another topic post to here.
Training at Worthy Down Barracks near Winchester in 1942
My Dad is 5th from the right in the top row.
Note: This was before the formation of 45RM Commando and therefore not entered into the Commando Gallery.
