Anyone able to help out converting a PDF consisting of scanned images of text, coupled with photos, to an OCR version which recognises the text for search purposes ? It's a large document thereby ruling out the free options online.

If you have can you email me below.

I know you don't want an online version, but if you get stuck, I use this one all the time which is really effective:

1.Open a PDF file containing a scanned image in Acrobat.
2.Click on the Edit PDF tool in the right pane. Acrobat (https://docsbay.net/how-to-create-an-adobe-acrobat-file) automatically applies optical character recognition (OCR) to your document and converts it to a fully editable copy of your PDF.
3.Click the text element you wish to edit and start typing. New text matches the look of the original fonts in your scanned image.
4.Choose File > Save As and type a new name for your editable document.
