When I obtained this FS it was said to have been carried to the Falklands on active service.

It was obviously by its condition never used. I understand they were and optional and requested piece of kit for the RM's in the Falklands conflict.

The knife came with the flash the beret badge and the map.

It certainly seems to be a possibility.

Not a lot Kevin..

You can never really be sure...?..but it is a good example of its era....so worth having.

Kevin have you ever seen a commemorative of the 'Operation Desert Storm' FS ?

regards

John M

As yet i have not seen the Desert Storm f/s knife.
As I've mentioned before i only collect commemorative knives.

In my attachment, the second left is the S.A.S 50th anniversary knife, after years of searching I've never seen another.
The one with the pearl handle is a strange one to me. Any help in identifying any of these two would be of great interest to me.
