Can't quite make out first name on first line.
Also info required regarding commando submarine training.

Looks like a 'foreign weapons' course. Commandos were trained to use captured enemy weapons in case the need ever arose.

Son of Dennis Cooper, 1 troop 4 Commando.

That's what my original thoughts were, thanks for confirming.
Any thoughts about the submarine training in Dunoon, I know there was a naval base there, and that there were plans for a submarine commando raid possibly to capture Rommel(I'm not sure) this is only conjecture on my part. I'll leave it until somebody can add to it.
