It is with much sadness that we advise you of the death this year on the 18th March of John Wall, a veteran of No. 4 Independent Company and No. 5 Commando. John served in the Madagascar and Burma campaigns. Post war he was an avid supporter of the Commando Association, a member of it's General Committee for several years, and was the serving Chairman of the Committee when it stood down in 2005. Our condolences to all his family and friends.

The photo here is cropped from one in our gallery which can be viewed [HERE].

Rest in peace John

A crop from a picture of John taken in 2004 following a service at the Commando Memorial Spean Bridge in the presence of H.R.H. The Duke of Edinburgh. The photo is from Mrs Desiree Roderick MBE.
