Information urgently needed ref; No 3 Commando raids. I have at present Vaagso Dec. 1941
Dieppe August 1942
Sicilly July 1943.
I am also told there were raids on North Africa but I have no dates or details, and Italy no dates or details. I would appreciate any information.

Ron, the 3 Cdo history page on this site gives a brief outline. Why not give Scotty a call and get it 'from the horses mouth'.

Check out the history section on here...it gives a few details in addition to what you have. More specific info on the involvement of some of 3 Commando demolition teams at St Nazaire can be seen in the history section of 2 Commando by Bob Bishop also on here. They were also involved at Normandy. Check out the link below re some of the Commando actions during the war. It gives specific units involved.

I've always wondered did anyone record the names of the 3 Commando men who took part in any of these raids?
