Hello to all.
I would like to share with you few photos taken last 6th june at Queen Red Beach. Sword Beach.
First men of the 1st commando Brigade coming ashore at this spot ( N°4 cdo ( with Free French cdo ) N°6 cdo, N°3 cdo and 45 RM cdo.
On these photos there is Mayors of OUISTREHAM and COLLEVILLE-MONTGOMERY laying flowers.

Roy CADMAN 3 Cdo and John ( Roy coming after the ceremony to lay his wreath )

1st commando brigade mémorial built 14th july 1944
there is Roy MAXWELL 4 Cdo with the Mayor of AMFREVILLE and UK Ambassador
Roy with Dominique KIEFFER-SALVAR ( Commandant KIEFFER's daughter CO Free French Cdo ) and Denise BEAU-LOFI ( Alexandre LOFI's daughter, 2nd CO Free French cdo )

AMFREVILLE
N°6 Cdo mémorial ceremony.
Roy CADMAN 4 Cdo laying flowers with the Mayor of AMFREVILLE and children.
The mémorial has been restored just the Week before the ceremony. He colasped last winter with the storm. He was there since july 1944.

The 6th june early Morning I laid flowers at sea, for all the missing and those who lost their life there.
And too, for the vétérans who wanted than their ashes were scattered at sea. Like my great friend Joe BURNETT 4 Cdo.
