It is with much sadness that we note the death last month on the 14th April 2018 of Kenneth Parker who served in 47RM Commando. Our condolences to all his family and friends. More about Ken can be found in the obituary published in the Independent below:

God and the Soldier, all men adore, In time of danger and not before.
When the danger is passed and all things righted, God is forgotten, and the Soldier slighted.
