Would anyone be able to point me to more information about NBC V and whether they might have been in Trincomalee. My father James Wilson served 43 to 45, and we are trying to get info for a possible Burma Star. He told stories about it but the RN medal office cannot confirm.

Hi and welcome to our Forum

There are some National Archives records relating to the RN Beach Commandos some of which I am transcribing onto our site. I have just added the one for R.N.B.C. Victor which is here:

What was the rank of your Father and service number ? Can you confirm that you have applied for and obtained his full service record ?

There is some useful information on this website about the Royal Naval Beach Commando.
