Please can the undermentioned be added to the No5 RoH.
All are listed on the Westminster Abbey RoH and listed in The Third Jungle Book, issue no9 (March '46), as having been in No5 Cdo.
4537642 Sgt Haldane F H M 15/03/44
3525354 Pte Bishop J 15/03/44
5190088 Pte Hodges J R 23/03/44
None of the above are recorded as commandos on the CWGC so I shall be asking them to update their records.
[Moderator's note: This Topic was started before I took it upon myself to start compiling a No5 Cdo Nominal Roll. The No5 RoH mentioned in the first sentence refers to the CVA RoH]

The CWGC wanted more evidence to prove that Bishop & Hodges, who fell in Burma, were Commandos.
Thanks to the wonderful Julie W [Julie Warren] , we were able to provide irrefutable evidence and today received the following from Mrs J Williams of the CWGC
