Hello,
I'm french history student, living in Normandy. I'm interested by some photos in the Gallery (http://gallery.commandoveterans.org/cdoGallery/v/units/HQ+and+Sigs/1+SS+Bde/?g2_page=1). I'm writing a study about the relationship between the British soldiers and the civilian in Normandy during WWII. In the gallery, it's written that the photos were taken from John Emmerson's collection. Do you know how can I contact his son John or "Pete R" about these photos ? I would like to know if i can us it in my study or not.
Regards
Pete Rogers, son of LSgt Joe Rogers MM & nephew of TSM Ken McAllister. Both No2 Commando.
