Hello

I have seen a picture of this flag in Flushing at one of the commorations. Does anyone know where the flag is? Their is a small one in the Spean Bridge Hotel.

Look at the Photo Gallery under No4 Commando you will find that Stephane has put a photo from Vlissingen on with the flag.

Found this entry in Commando Association newsletter 19 issued September 1954

The Flag of Flushing, Holland, given to Major L.N. Coulson, MC. when No. 4 Commando liberated the town in 1944, has been presented by him to the Imperial War Museum in London. The Flag now appears in the Commando Corner.

Pete Rogers, son of LSgt Joe Rogers MM & nephew of TSM Ken McAllister. Both No2 Commando.
God and the Soldier, all men adore, In time of danger and not before.
When the danger is passed and all things righted, God is forgotten, and the Soldier slighted.
