Stewart May has informed us about a new memorial dedicated to Lieutenant Colonel Augustus Charles Newman VC, OBE, TD, DL which will be unveiled in the grounds of St Peter's Church, Sandwich, Kent. CT13 9DA on 26th April 2018.
Lt Col Charles Newman won his VC at St Nazaire commanding No.2 Commando.
