Pete and NIck have forwarded email to you.

"Hello,

Your email was given to me when I visited the Commando museum in Spean bridge .

I am researching my Dads war history ; he died last year aged 90 not having spoken too much about it. I have his record now and it states Commando 12/44. He certainly spoke of being at Achnacarry in Winter which would fit. By Dec 44 he would have been 18 however he always told us he?d put up his age and my impression was that he was involved earlier. I am pursuing the possibility that he was in SOE prior to his record ?Official? starting.

Do you have the records of Achnacarry from the end of 44 or any photos?. I'd be most interested if you did.

I look forward to hearing from you

Kind regards

Piers Renshaw"

Best wishes.

Bill

There was a Forum message placed on here a little while back and although replies were given, nothing else was placed on there from the person who posted it.
