It is with much sadness that the CVA National Secretary, Fred Davies, advises us of the death on the 23rd August 2017 of Laurence (Laurie) E. Wayman aged 92. After his Commando training Laurie went on to serve in No 12, 3 and 5 Commando. Our condolences to all his family and friends.
Rest in peace Laurie.

God and the Soldier, all men adore, In time of danger and not before.
When the danger is passed and all things righted, God is forgotten, and the Soldier slighted.
