In some, but not all, unit galleries we have an 'In Remembrance' album where the photos we have of those who died are housed. These were placed in the early days of the gallery and have never reflected the true Roll of Honour of those units with some containing only 6 or so images.
With the recent development of the Rolls of Honour on the site, we are now able to provide a 'Roll of Honour View' to each Unit's gallery page which users can click on and then browse the individual entries of the entire Roll of Honour for that unit. These have more detail and will show images where we have them.
As such a gradual withdrawal of the the 'In Remembrance' albums will be made with the photos being put back into their main unit gallery in alphabetical order by surname alongside their comrades photos.
An additional link to the main Archive of each Commando Unit will also be shown, each being at the top of the 1st page of each Unit gallery.

When the danger is passed and all things righted, God is forgotten, and the Soldier slighted.
