It is with much sadness that we advise you of the death on Thursday 18th May 2017 of Fred Carrington, aged 95 yrs., who served in WW2 as a Marine in 43RM Commando. Our condolences to all his family and friends.

God and the Soldier, all men adore, In time of danger and not before.
When the danger is passed and all things righted, God is forgotten, and the Soldier slighted.
