It is with much sadness that we advise you of the death yesterday 26th April 2017 of Harold Doug Bennett, CVA member and veteran of 5 Commando. Harold was 95 years old. Our sincere condolences to his son Nick, and all his family and friends.

Rest in peace Harold.
Pete Rogers, son of LSgt Joe Rogers MM & nephew of TSM Ken McAllister. Both No2 Commando.
God and the Soldier, all men adore, In time of danger and not before.
When the danger is passed and all things righted, God is forgotten, and the Soldier slighted.

Harold's funeral will take place at 13:30 on the 10th May 2017 in Burton upon Trent. Anyone wishing to attend and requiring more information contact CVA Secretary, Fred Davies. Alternatively you can email me direct.
