Thanks again to Gwenan and to Andy for providing these 3 photos which have been added to the gallery. The one of Idris is included in the sub album in his name, and the one of Gwyn Jones is alongside that sub album within the gallery. The 3rd is on the last page with the others.

Andy, good photos. When I first met Idris he was like my father, an innocent looking, run of a mill store keeper, just shows, how innocence deceive.
Pity that, he like my father and many others would never really 'open up' to us until their formative years, but with hindsight of what they saw and did its not surprising.
Cheers Andy. (I frequently visit the cemetery when in the vicinity).

Hi Kevin

Thanks for that, I will have to go and visit where Idris is buried myself, could you give me the name of the cemetery please.

Cheers Andy

Ps I have got some other photos that I will scan that were taken when Idris whent back to France to visit the grave of his best friend Elwyn Edwards. The trip was filmed by a Welsh TV channel, the photos also show the annual commemoration ceremony that the locals hold at the graves of the two men who were killed on Operation Chopper.
