Has anyone any knowledge at all of a Lieutenant T. Thomas MC, Royal Marines. He was at Achnacarry in 1945 on the staff but at present I cannot trace any more detail about him. Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks guys. That is him. A sad ending to his life I note. He is identified in a 1945 image of the Officers Mess at the CBTC currently on sale so I cannot post this image. We have a similar one in our gallery but for 1944. However the present owner has kindly granted permission for me to post in our archive cropped facial images of the individuals to our bio pages which are very clear as can be seen by the one above.
Now to set you another task...who can find out the details of his citation and what his initials D. C. stood for ?

Pete,
Lt. Thomas' award of his Military Cross was published in the London Gazette, 19th December 1944, p5809.
Addendum, LG 16th January 1945, p421.
I haven't been able to find a citation?
