Sadly I have to report the death recently of Edna Rudge, wife of the late 'Tan' Rudge of No 2 Commando 5 troop. Edna and Tan were regulars for many years at the Fort William Remembrance weekend with the former Commando Association. They were strong supporters of the Warrington Branch of the CA and since Tan's death she had maintained close contact with many of the surviving No 2 Commando widows. Her husband 'Tan' was awarded the DCM for his outstanding bravery during operations on the 13th September 1943 at Dragone Hill, Salerno.

Rest in peace Edna.
