I am sad to inform friends of the passing of Iris Lowman who died peacefully yesterday.
I know Iris was known to many through her support for the CVA with her husband John Lowman of No 1 Commando.
Iris was a very active supporter of the Lincoln Branch of the CVA where I met this lovely couple during my time as secretary of that branch.
John was a prolific poet and Iris was the inspiration for many of his verses.
Iris is now reunited with her loving husband.

May they both Rest in Peace.
