Join Peter Lush, a recognised expert on the raid of St Nazaire, for an evening all about this crucial mission. Having studied 'Operation Chariot' for nearly 50 years, Peter will outline the planning, execution and bravery of those who took part. 2017 is the 75th Anniversary of the raid, and where more fitting to start these commemorations than here in Falmouth, with a presentation much of which is based on first hand testimony.
For more information visit the Events page for Falmouth Poly http://thepoly.org/whats-on/event/271/the-greatest-raid-of-all-the-75th-anniversary-of-the-raid-on-st-Nazaire
You may wish to consider linking this with a visit to the Falmouth annual Service of Remembrance to commemorate the St Nazaire raid. This will be held on Sunday 19th March 2017 at the Prince of Wales Pier.

God and the Soldier, all men adore, In time of danger and not before.
When the danger is passed and all things righted, God is forgotten, and the Soldier slighted.
