I am Helen Fielke And we are trying to find out about our farther Alec Frank Starr he joined up in1942 and left in 1946 we have a lot of photos of his time while he was in Hong Kong if you know any of the people or reconise my father please contact me

Great photos, especially the one with Mountbatten.
I hope you have some success with them, I'm sure you will - have you posted them anywhere else?
Can you put names to any of the others in the photos [other than Mountbatten :wink:

Other than my father I do not know who any of the people. Did you look at the photos on the other thread. I am now going to put some more of the photos on like I said we a lots. By the way the corpral with Mountbatten is my father,

Yes i've seen your photos on the other thread too - very good! I gathered that the young Cpl chatting to Mountbatten was your dad - and not vice versa
