It is with much sadness that Bill Harvey advises us of the recent death on the 19th May 2016 of René Rossey who served in No 4 Commando being one of the 177 of Commando Kieffer. René took part in the D Day landings at Normandy, and also in the allied landings on the 1 November 1944 in the Netherlands. Our sincere condolences to all his family and friends.

Rest in peace René.

So sad to hear of his death but so glad I had the opportunity to meet him.

RIP Sir, and thank you.

If I have praised my comrades too highly I make no apology, for they were beyond all praise.
