Hi

While checking for information on Operation Partridge within the CVA site there appears to two different dates given.

On page 1 of the recent contents under " 9 Commando" the date given is Dec 1943.

On page 3 the article titled Operation Partridge has the date as Dec 1944.

The 9 Commando war diary records 29/30 Dec 1943 as the date for Op Partridge.

The recent content pages are a real gem of information,and the contributors should be congratulated and thanked for their input.

One question - at the top of each index page along with Title,Author is replies,does this mean we can reply back within that section,instead of using the forum,if so how is it done,or is it defunct.

Thanks for these observations which are most welcome.

The date for Operation Partridge will be verified and corrected accordingly.

The 'replies' facility was originally for 'admin' only when we set up the new site and we were considering open input.....but we will revise this function in due course.
