Received photos today, dated 11/7/43 (lower picture) dad was with The Inniskilling Fusiliers (7/3/43) but cap badge is wrong, looks more like R.W.F. If so would he have worn this cap badge during his Commando. Photo could be between transfer to Inniskilling Fusiliers from 204 Military Mission? Photo 2 is Possibly Indian Army Ordinance Corps.

Hi Kevin,
I believe the top photo has been copied back to front...
I have reversed it and you will see that your father's shoulder flash now reads I.A.O.C. as it should.

Hi Kevin,
Looking at the full length photo, I agree the cap badge looks like RWF.
Is it possible that this photo was when he was an officer cadet - the shoulder tabs are pale and, as far as I can ascertain, do not show/carry any rank and the band around his cap would also be very pale and possibly the sort of thing that officer cadets would wear?

Thanks Nick must have been printed back to front as photo is on original Post Card (The Printers Stores. Anarkali, Lahore). Large photo could have been taken much earlier than dated.

Kevin,
I have added this for a comparison. It does look like an Inniskilling Fusilers cap badge to me?
