If anyone is planning a visit to the National Memorial Arboretum, Mike Colton of the Allied Special Forces Association reminds us of the following
During April. May and June the thousands of Tulips and daffodils planted last year will be blooming in the Allied Special Forces Memorial Grove. The majority of these were planted along the Falklands Memorial Way. Come and visit us and see what has been achieved last year and continues this year.
He also adds
On Saturday April 25th we will be commemorating 'Operation Frankton' where the Royal Marine Boom Patrol Detachment under the command of Major Hasler attacked enemy ships in Bordeaux Harbour. This is an open event commencing at 1 pm. Hope that you will be able to join us.
