Bonjour,

N.BARKAT

Hello,

Thank you for this translation.

I shall want to put photos of my Father in the case or a person would recognize him.

Thank you for indicating me the procedure.

Best Regards,

Hello,

I am in search of information on my Father BARKAT ALI.

He(It) made DUNKIRK and he(it) made left men(people) who paraded(scrolled) in LILLE further to the surrender of the last soldiers during the battle of HAUBOURDIN in June, 1940.

From there he(it) fought(disputed) in the region FROM PICARDY and on PARIS(BETS) until 1942.

Then at the end of 1942, further to the OPERATION WIPE, he joined the BRITISH Commando squads.
He became Lieutenant, and was decorated by MONTGOMERY.

Would you have advice to give me so that I can find to whom to send to me to obtain his file ?

You could tell me who is the man who stands to the right on the photo No. 6 Cdo Panorama July 1943 site of the CVA.
His name is EDWARDS and it looks like my Father.

What is what somebody would have photos or information on the Yugoslav Commando squad?
N°10 Commando (troop 7)

Thank you for your help(assistant) and advice
