Hi,
Can anyone help please - at present I am looking into the history and establishment of the RM Engineer Commandos, and have just picked up on the fact that there was a RM Engineer unit with 3 Cdo Bde in Burma -they seem to have had a different role than the European based units,ie road construction and beach preparation. I have tried the internet to get basic info - but to no avail - then one of those senior moments !

The "Jungle" books - I wondered if anyone having these publications could check and see if there are any references to to the Engineer Cdo ie the history ,established, and of course any nominal rolls.

Many thanks

Graham

Graham,

I only have a couple of issues of the Third Jungle Book - the 3 Commando Brigade Newsletter and the only article from the RM Engineer Cdo I could find was in the Souvenir number, issue No9, March 1946.
