Just to let you know that the launch of the 'new, improved' CVA Website will take place in the very near future!

It is estimated that it should take approx 48 hrs to propagate and it's hoped that it will be a seamless, problem free migration and that you'll just log in, as normal, to a new look website...

However, it is possible that we might experience few teething problems. I know you'll be patient and will bear with us - it will be worth any disruption.

If you do experience any problems, by all means let me know (by email) and I'll make sure the Webmaster is kept up to date...

Fingers crossed,

Nick

Hi Everyone

We were sort of forced by the hand of fate (the old site broke) and we were fairly rushed in the end so the site you see is not the finished product yet!

The migration to the new site has gone fairly smoothly. There are still
a few niggles to sort out but we will continue to resolve them.

Although the site is looking fairly plain at the moment I think it is
very 'user' friendly and overall we are quite pleased with it.

We need a few graphics on there but not to many or it might loose a bit
of dignity............something I think we must retain.

It will be interesting to have any feedback from members/users. Opinions
may be mixed but I feel we are on the right track?

Thanx to the site team ( you know who you are) for their continued work that makes these things happen.

Christmas beckons

Best regards

John M

Just adding a bit to what John has said in relation to the old site
We were sort of forced by the hand of fate (the old site broke)
Everyone was hoping that the old site would last a bit longer in order that we could get everything onto the new site before going live. This was not to be and what a time to have the issues - just before Christmas. A big thank you to John and his son Dan for the amount of work they have done in the past and to get us to the point where we are today. I know they have been working particularly hard since the old site crashed a few days ago. There are some major changes under the bonnet that might not be obvious but will benefit users as the new site develops. Unfortunately the Festive Season is upon us and much of the updating will by necessity take place in the New Year. However two things that have not changed for users browsing are the Gallery and the Forum.

Any concerns or suggestions can be added here to this forum message or to anyone of us by email via the Contact us page

Happy Xmas !!
