Very many thanks for the kind compliments. Alan is very much responsible for drawing the information together, it represents years of research. I only edited, checked etc, etc. The work Alan has done is a great tribute to his father and those who served with him. I learned a great deal in the process and thank Alan, Nick and Pete for agreeing and enabling publication - to me it is what the CVA Forum is all about. It is a source for others to draw upon - but I hope acknowledgements are made, as appropriate, to draw greater attention to the CVA.
