Hi everyone

Got my copy of this much awaited volume yesterday and I wasn't disappointed. It is fantastically detailed and researched with material from W S themselves included ..order sheets etc.

There is much to absorb here.

I was particularly interested in the chapter on fakes and copies in which our good friends MacDonald Armories are mentioned but not in a detrimental way at all.

In my opinion some of these modern day 'copies' are themselves worth obtaining and could in future form a sub-genre for collectors in their own right.

I think this book is a must have.

Regards

Hi John,

Is this a completely new source of info or an update / reprint of previous material?

Hi Vic

There certainly is a a lot of new evidence and sources included in this book for some of the old arguments re numbers made when etc.

He draws a lot of comparisons with Windrum's & Shadbolt's etc conclusions throughout......... in my opinion its certainly worth getting.

Best regards

John M
