Ian Moran is looking for anyone who may have known, or have information relating to, his grandfather, 2049245 Robert (BOB) O'Brien, who served in No. 2 (Para) Commando, 11th SAS Bn., and 1st Parachute Bn. (medals 1939-1945, Africa, Italy, France and Germany stars)


Pete Rogers, son of LSgt Joe Rogers MM & nephew of TSM Ken McAllister. Both No2 Commando.
God and the Soldier, all men adore, In time of danger and not before.
When the danger is passed and all things righted, God is forgotten, and the Soldier slighted.

originally enlisted in the Royal Engineers

Wounded in action 3rd February 1943 serving with the 1st Parachute Battalion at Djebel Alliliga
