Hi

Who was the last CO of CBTC,and when did the last recruits pass out through the main gate.

Does anyone know if the last group trained were Army or Royal Marine commando's.

It would appear from old a CA newsletters that a Capt GEW LUCAS. MC ROYAL MARINE.locked the gates MAY 1946.

Any ideas.

Graham

Graham, in the absence of any specific information on here, you could try contacting Dr Stuart Allan: Senior Curator, Military History based at National War Museum, Edinburgh Castle. He wrote the book Commando Country. Their website is here : http://www.nms.ac.uk/our_museums/war_museum.aspx
