Forum Ranking System

We have had requests by users recently about whether they can retain a certain rank eg L/Cpl in honour and memory of their relatives rank when serving in the Commandos.

I'm afraid this is not possible as the system is now embedded within the forum and would prove difficult to remove at this time.

The ranking system was put in place to pay homage to the tradition of the WW2 Commandos when ranks were taken in a more relaxed attitude than in the regular army at the time.

All ranks could have their input into an upcoming action or operation...........on many occasions you hear Brigadiers recording homage and honour to the men who served below them in rank.

Please take the forum ranking system in this way.
