Hello All,
I have finally managed to scan in a group of around 50 photos my father (Peter GIBSON, 3Cdo) took in Normandy when he attended the 41st Anniversary of D-Day in June 1985. He was accompanied on the trip by three other 3 Commando veterans ? Arthur CHIVERS, Vic SMART and Bill BRITNELL, so many of the photos feature this trio, along with various others, and at various events.
I wasn?t sure whether to flood the CVA Gallery with the full set of photos so have for the time being uploaded them to a public album on the Photobox site. Links are as follows:
For a thumbnail view: http://www.photobox.co.uk/album/7760539
For an automatic slideshow: http://www.photobox.co.uk/slideshow/viewer.html?c_album=7760539
Please feel free to take a look if you are interested. Also, I would be pleased to hear others opinions on whether it would be a good idea to upload all or a selection of these to the CVA Gallery?
Regards,
Rob

All,
I have added an album for photos of the 41st D-Day Anniversary to the gallery. They are in the 'Other Commando Photos' album.
Regards,
Rob
