My late dad James Holmes served in the 1st MNBDO from 1940.

I'm looking for any surviving members of 1st MNBDO who may be able to fill in some of the details of my dads wartime service

My Grandad was with one of the MNBDO groups but his record doesn't state whether it was 1 or 2. His name was Bert Coote but I believe he was known as Harry while in the Marines.

Here's a link to the thread.

I believe Jim Kelly served with 1st MNBDO prior to 41RM Commando. He was at the recent Services at Flushing and Fort William:

Hi Colin

My father was also in MNBDO1. He is William Baker, not sure how to add link to his thread, but his details are on Page 3 of this section of the forum.

Kind regards
Sarah
