Attached is a typed note of congratulations to No.3 Commando provided by Marcel which is from a Sister Stanislas, The Convent, Maeseyck, Belgium.
Does anyone know any information about the note, Sister Stanislas, or a connection with 3 Commando and the Convent?

No. 3 Commando took up positions at Maeseyck in January 1945 and on 24/25 January, with snow falling on the streets and a heavy German artillery barrage on the town, they took part in an assault on Linne.

The Ursuline Sisters are a religious order founded for the sole purpose of educating young girls. It was the first teaching order of women established in the Roman Catholic Church.
The Saint Jan Berchmans Convent at Maaseik [Maaseyck /Maeseyck] was one of many convents that hid and protected Jewish children during the War.
These days the former convent, of which the town of Maaseik owns half, houses an auditorium.
At the moment I can find no specific link between the Convent and No3 Commando.

Although still not a specific link to the Commandos, the Sister Stanlislas mentioned in the article below could be the author of the letter.
Using Google Translate, it seems she was educated in England so perhaps that led to a special bond between her and No. 3?
