Hi Everyone

I thought I would share this with you.

My father attended the service of the 'Laying Up' in 1971 and purchased/aquired this memento.........an LP record of the event.

I'm not sure of how many were made but there must have been quite a few. I am trying to copy it over to MP3 and make parts available.

The speaches paticularly are quite rousing.

regards

John M

Hi Stephen

That must have been a really special day?

I can remember my dad & mum going but I didn't go along.

Can you remember if these records were on sale after or offered to all attendees?.

Regards
John M

Hi again Stephen

I am going to convert this to CD and MP3...........would you like a CD copy?

It will be no trouble but might be a couple of weeks...........I think I've got your address from Lincoln.

Let me know if you want one?

regards to your wife and bro.

John M
