Watching the old movie 1956 D- Day Sixth Of June this afternoon with Richard Todd starring. I noticed the American troops training for a raid on the beaches were all wearing the Combined Ops badge on their arm Was this a mistake? It looked odd

Hi Stephen

Yes films do sometimes get it wrong.

I do think the USA were with CO but not sure if they would have worn the insignia.
