It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of Sgt. Ian Walter Harris , No. 10 (IA) Commando, on the 10th March 2012.

Pete Rogers, son of LSgt Joe Rogers MM & nephew of TSM Ken McAllister. Both No2 Commando.
God and the Soldier, all men adore, In time of danger and not before.
When the danger is passed and all things righted, God is forgotten, and the Soldier slighted.

This is a sad news.

It was a great pleasure to see and speak with Ian HARRIS in Normandy for the ceremonies.
He was attached to 45 RM cdo.

May He Rest In Peace !!!
