In addition to the forum message I posted about Lt. George Knowland VC on this forum message:

We should remember all who died on that day, but for this purpose, those other Commandos who are remembered with honour alongside him:

Commandos who died on 31st January 1945 and are, unless stated otherwise, remembered with honour at TAUKKYAN WAR CEMETERY :

No.1 Commando

Lieutenants GEORGE ARTHUR KNOWLAND VC and ANTONY ASHFORD PALMER;
Sergeant MATHEW FRANK MORRIS MM;
Corporal HUBERT JONES;
Lance Corporals HERBERT VALENTINE BAKER, RONALD JAMES LINES, EDMUND JOHN LLOYD, HAROLD GEORGE RUSHTON, and JAMES ALFRED YOUNG;
Fusiliers ALFRED ARCHLEY ANDREWS and GRAHAM CHARLES WILSON;
Gunners JOHN GEORGE ARTHUR BEANEY, GEORGE DICKSON, and GEORGE HORACE BAKER (Rangoon War Memorial);
Privates HENRY GRAHAM DEARDEN, ANDREW PLLU, and IVAN HENRY TUCKER.
