It is with much regret that we inform you of the passing of Major, the Hon. Raymond Thomas Addington MC, third son of sixth Viscount Sidmouth, who died on 28th October 2011 aged 92.

God and the Soldier, all men adore, In time of danger and not before.
When the danger is passed and all things righted, God is forgotten, and the Soldier slighted.
