Hello,

I have been trying to find out information about my husbands Grandfather Charlie, who was in the Beds & Herts Regt, and volunteered to join No 7 Commando (captured in Crete in 1941 and held in Stalag IV-A until the end of the war). In my research, I've stumbled across your website and noted the Obituaries page. I wondered if you would be ever so kind as to add his name to the list. He was a fabulous man, and unfortunately it has only been since he died that we have found out in more detail what he really got up to in his time in the Army.

He was a Private and his name was Charles Frederick Cox (believe his nickname was 'Wag') and he died on 15th March 2010 at the age of 91 (almost 92!).

Many thanks, and kind regards,

Christine Cox
