Ron Youngman advises us of the following
" It is with sadness that I inform you of the recent death of George Denny (2 Cdo). The funeral is on Friday 26th next at 12.00 noon at Upminster Crematorium. He died on 15th August.
If you can arrange for anyone to be present, the family would appreciate it.

Rest in peace George

An article has been brought to my attention concerning George Denny which I felt should be posted here along with a video of his funeral. The article indicates George was with the SAS in WW2, but from what I understand, and the video confirms, he was with No 2 Commando (possibly 2 troop) and joined 21 SAS post war in 1946. That is not my reason for posting the article...more that it shows that George was a much loved character and a hero to all who knew him.

The article is here : George Denny artcle

The video is here : George Denny Funeral

Rest in peace George
