I am seeking any information about my Uncle Harold Best who I know was a Warrant Officer Royal Marines( I have seen his Wedding Photos in Dress Uniform) and I am told was a Sgt Maj or even RSM at Achnacarry.
I did not discover this information until shortly before my Father died last year and by that time he was unable to give me any more.
It is of particular interest to me since I also served as a regular in the Royal Marines.
Can anybody help.
